Anan and Zhenghe’s wedding at Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad was a romantic garden celebration filled with soft color, playful details, and deeply personal touches. Pastel pinks, powder blue, soft green, ivory, and hints of yellow created a setting that felt whimsical and entirely their own.
At the heart of the day was their beloved cat, whom they had always imagined as their ring bearer. After losing him before the wedding, the couple created a 3D model of his paw to carry the rings. During the ceremony, the bride’s mother presented it to the couple—a heartfelt way for him to still be part of their day.
Their love for him was woven throughout the celebration with illustrated details, framed portraits, playful signage, and subtle cat-inspired touches, all layered into romantic garden florals and delicate pastel details.
Surrounded by family and friends, the celebration continued with dinner and dancing beneath the California sky—a joyful, colorful day made unforgettable by the personal details that told Anan and Zhenghe’s story.
