Perched above the dramatic coastline of Carmel-by-the-Sea, Nina and Miguel's wedding was a beautiful meeting of two worlds, where Chinese heritage and South American spirit came together in a celebration filled with warmth, texture, and meaning.
Every detail told a part of their story. Tea leaves and coffee beans paid homage to their cultural roots, while traditional paper parasols, woven straw hats, delicate butterflies, and dried lotus pods brought layers of symbolism and personality to the design. Macramé textiles, rustic wood, and organic floral arrangements added a relaxed bohemian sensibility, effortlessly blending both cultures with the natural beauty of the California coast.
An earthy palette of terracotta, copper, sage green, and warm neutrals set the tone for an intimate oceanfront ceremony, where sculptural florals framed sweeping views of the Pacific. The celebration continued with richly layered tablescapes, thoughtful cultural details, and an atmosphere that felt both inviting and deeply personal.
As the golden California sun dipped toward the horizon, the couple shared quiet moments along the rugged coastline before returning to an evening of laughter, music, and dancing.
More than a wedding, it was a celebration of heritage, individuality, and a love that brought two cultures beautifully together.
