TRADITIONS BENEATH THE HAWAIIAN SKY

Set along the sun-drenched shores of Oʻahu, Yvonne and Prabhu’s wedding weekend was a heartfelt celebration of love, family, and cultural tradition. The festivities began the evening before with a lūʻau welcome dinner at Paradise Cove, just moments from Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina, where guests gathered for a relaxed introduction to the spirit and beauty of Hawaiʻi.

The following day brought together a meaningful Hindu religious ceremony and a Western ceremony, honoring two traditions within one beautifully layered celebration. Vibrant Indian attire, ceremonial rituals, and joyful family moments filled the day with color and cultural richness, while the natural beauty of Oʻahu created an effortless backdrop for every gathering.

The design was intentionally understated, allowing the traditions and emotions of the day to take center stage. Soft ivory and sand tones were layered with natural greens, warm marigold, terracotta, and touches of antique gold, creating a palette that felt both grounded in the island setting and beautifully connected to the cultural richness of the celebration. Airy florals and refined details brought a romantic softness throughout.

As evening arrived, guests gathered beneath strands of glowing lights for dinner, cake, and dancing. From a festive Hawaiian lūʻau to sacred Hindu rituals, Western vows, and a joyful night beneath the stars, Yvonne and Prabhu’s celebration was a beautiful meeting of cultures, traditions, and island spirit.
